About Us

Hi! My name is Eleanor, and I started Hyrstcraft Embroidery & Print in 2025.

I've worked in industrial branded workwear, embroidery and print for many years, for
a variety of companies ranging from small start-ups to large nationwide producers. Over the years, I realised just how important good communication is. Very often, the person actually embroidering or printing the garment never gets to speak to the customer. In larger operations, a customer's design can even pass through
several different companies before it finally reaches the embroidery machine.

The result? Customers often miss out on the advice that only comes from the person actually doing the work. They're rarely told what will look best, which type of personalisation suits a particular fabric, or what options are available to them. Instead, they're given a one-size-fits-all approach.

But one size doesn't fit all.

I thought: there must be a better way of doing this.

So I started Hyrstcraft.

When you order from Hyrstcraft, you're talking directly to the person who'll actually be customising your clothing. With my background in illustration and design, I can help you decide what looks best (if you want me to!). With my experience in embroidery digitising, I can make tweaks to your embroidery files where needed. And with years of hands-on embroidery and printing experience, I can advise you on which type of personalisation works best for different garments, helping your finished design look clean, professional and eye-catching.

Who's The "Us"?

Good question.

While I handle the design, print, embroidery and all the hands-on stuff, my long-suffering partner looks after the quotes, invoicing and a whole variety of behind-the-scenes administration. We really are a team, and Hyrstcraft wouldn't exist without him!

He, like me, has spent many years in the workwear industry and even knows most of the suppliers' product codes off by heart. (Sad, I know, but it comes in very handy!)

Inclusivity at Hyrstcraft

Everyone is welcome at Hyrstcraft.

Whether you have questions about modest clothing, plus-size garments, or you'd like a
custom-printed Pride T-shirt, you'll receive exactly the same friendly, personal service. My aim is simply to help you create clothing you're genuinely happy to wear.

Being neurodivergent myself has taught me that everyone communicates differently, and I want my customers to feel comfortable asking absolutely anything. There are no silly questions here. If you want to send me fifty emails asking about fabric types, embroidery textures or garment options, I'm here for it. I can recommend brands that don't have labels in the neck, explain how embroidery will feel against the skin, and if I don't know the answer to something, I'll go away and find out.

What Are You Waiting For?

With no minimum orders, we cater for everyone from sole traders to whole teams, and our goal is always the same: to make the process straightforward, enjoyable, and to create clothing you'll be proud to wear.
